On 27 October 2021, Dr. Laura Martí Montaner, Decarbonisation Group Leader at AIMPLAS, presented LAURELIN at the sixth edition of Oil & Gas Non-Metallics.
In a presentation called “Development of new technologies for CO2 utilisation, energy storage and high-performance materials in the O&G industry,” Dr. Martí Montaner highlighted how the technologies developed by the LAURELIN project can contribute to reaching the European Green Deal objectives in terms of decarbonisation.
Panellists discussed the increasing focus on energy transition, the shift towards digitalisation, the overriding industry need to control cost in terms of infrastructure and equipment investment, installation and maintenance as well as ways to minimise risk during the development, qualification and application of new non-metallic materials and components.
