LAURELIN holds its first six-month review
On Tuesday 2 and Wednesday 3 November 2021, LAURELIN partners came together during a virtual meeting for the project’s first six-month review.
The meeting gathered the entire multidisciplinary LAURELIN team, which consists of researchers, experts, industry leaders and SMEs from the EU, the UK and Japan. The meeting aimed to assess recent achievements by the project’s partners, and took stock of the progress made in the project’s first six months and the work to be done in the coming months.
Since May 2021, all partners have been working jointly to lay the foundations of the project, notably the development of multifunctional and heterogeneous catalyst systems for efficient synthesis of renewable fuels.
These progresses are paving the way for the forthcoming activities in support of the final goal of the project, which is the optimisation and improvement of CO2 hydrogenation process, in order to obtain methanol as renewable fuel.
The meeting proved to be an example of cooperation and fruitful exchange among partners, who had the opportunity to hear about all the developments in each work package first-hand, discuss the activities carried out by other partners and find additional areas where collaborative efforts can further advance the project.
