On 30 March 2023, Ema Nemet, Process Engineer at the Process Design Center, participated to a webinar organised by the Horizon Europe-funded research project Waterproof. This project, like LAURELIN, intends to reduce GHG emissions in the atmosphere by utilising CO2.
With her presentation, she was able to introduce LAURELIN’s objectives of using innovative catalysts to improve hydrogenation technology, the crucial process for the manufacture of green methanol.
The Waterproof project aims at creating a novel biorefinery concept converting CO2 emissions from urban waste treatment facilities into valuable green consumer-products.
