LAURELIN’s research work presented at the Spectroscopy User Meeting hosted at Diamond Light Source
On Tuesday 11th June 2024, Lucy Costley-Wood from the LAURELIN project partner UCL (University College London) presented the LAURELIN project during the Spectroscopy User Meeting, hosted at Diamond Light Source
During her presentation, Lucy Costley-Wood communicated to the audience on the results of recent operando spectroscopy and diffraction experiments. These included operando plasma experiments performed on B18 with project partners at the University of Manchester, and operando magnetic induction experiments performed on P21.2 at DESY with project partners from Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas (CSIC) Valencia. Both of these used catalysts and technology developed as part of LAURELIN for CO2 conversion. This presentation – being well received by the audience of around 80 participants– led to some good discussions on how the beamlines at the synchrotron can optimise even further for these kinds of experiments which use reactors less familiar to synchrotrons (i.e. plasma and magnetic induction).
