Discover our latest newsletter of June 2024 – already publication nr. #7 – and learn more about the LAURELIN’s project developments.
As you know from past newsletters, the LAURELIN project has entered its final year. We are pleased to inform you that we can share some promising – preliminary – results. This especially as over the past six months we managed to achieve some crucial breakthroughs for our EU-Japan funded research project.
- The hydrogenation reactors have been built and optimized. All of them are now fully operational.
- New catalysts are being synthesized and tested in the innovative reactors, based on the feedback from the analysis of the initial generation of catalysts.
- Issues related to the microwave reactor, including heating performance, assembly protocol and powder catalyst projection during pressurization, have been resolved. Promising results are arising from the initial testing.
Regarding dissemination & communications, we have been very active, attending & co-organizing numerous events and publications. Notably, we participated at the second cluster event between EU and Japanese researchers collaborating on related projects from our call held early November in Brussels.
