On October 17th and 18th, our consortium met in Valencia, hosted by our coordinator AIMPLAS and partner ITQ, to assess the progress we made the last 6 months and draft our action plan for the next semester.
We discussed our different work packages and the following developments:
👉catalyst systems development for renewable methanol synthesis
👉hydrogenation technologies: microwave, plasma induction, magnetic induction and conventional thermal heating
👉reaction mechanism for the synthesized catalysts
👉conceptual process design and environmental, regulatory & economic analysis
👉dissemination and exploitation
We also had the pleasure to visit AIMPLAS’ and ITQ’s premises.
After these 2 days of fruitful meeting, we all went back home, more motivated than ever, to carry on aiming at our common objective: improving green methanol production!
