Renewable fuels research project LAURELIN’s 9-month review highlights good progress
On 8 February 2022, all LAURELIN partners gathered virtually to take stock of the work done over the past months. Each Work Package Leader presented its results achieved since the beginning of the project about reactors design or conceptual processes design. Fruitful exchanges between partners followed, allowing for the clarification of the next steps.
Partners also discussed the upcoming work for the next three months, which will be crucial for the development of the project. Marking the acceleration of the partners’ work, the project will notably see the beginning of the reactors’ construction for the three technologies investigated by LAURELIN: microwave heating, magnetic induction and plasma induction.
April 2022 is a key month for the project with relevant milestones in the research related to the heating capacity and the design and construction of reactors for CO2 hydrogenation.
All the partners are looking forward to April 2022 to meet physically in Valencia to celebrate the project’s first year of activities.
