LAURELIN partner attends “Accelerating Europe’s Mobility Transformation – 2023 Mobility Transformation Forum” in Brussels

On April 23, 2023, LAURELIN consortium partner Aliénor attended the 2023 Mobility Transformation Forum, hosted by the Volvo Group in Brussels. This event brought together influential stakeholders to discuss and explore tangible opportunities for bussiness and society, for accelerating Europe’s transformation towards sustainable mobility.

During the forum, they had the opportunity to interact with stakeholders who share the objective of reaching more sustainable mobility solutions.

They took away two key insights.

1. There is no single solution or “silver bullet” to achieve sustainable mobility. Instead, a multi-faceted approach is necessary, which includes the integration of electric, fuel cell, and internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicles running on fossil-free renewable fuels. Green methanol will definitely play a crucial role in this process.
2. The forum highlighted the importance of scaling up innovation and solutions for fossil-free mobility.
